Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to questions we commonly receive

How Do I Book A Chalet?
All of the chalets at Riviere Towans are privately owned and operated. Some owners let their chalet through local agents, whilst others manage their chalets privately. Many chalets display contact information on their buildings or in their windows. For further information please contact our office via the Contact page.
What Facilities Are Onsite?
Riviere Towans is a traditional style holiday destination. There are no permanent catering or entertainment facilities on site. For children, there are several outdoor play areas across the site and our unique location allows for easy access to the town and the beaches. Our visitors can enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the site and explore the local town to support local businesses and attractions.
Are Dogs Allowed at Riviere Towans?
We welcome dogs on Riviere Towans, and many chalets accept our four legged friends to stay, but please keep dogs on a lead whilst you are out and about on the site. Of course it goes without saying that any presents left by your dog should be picked up and disposed of in any of the numerous bins around the perimeter of the site.
Can I Camp Onsite?
Riviere Towans does not offer any facilities for camping or caravanning. Overnight accommodation is only allowed within chalets.
Fires & BBQ's
Campfires or open fires of any kind are not permitted within the Riviere Towans site. BBQ's are only allowed to be used at chalets that permit them and they must be metal, reusable ones. Disposable BBQ's are not to be used anywhere on site and we (plus many local environmental groups) strongly advise against their use on the beach.
Drones
Drones are not permitted to be operated anywhere on site by owners, guests or visitors.
